I will admit that I didnt know much about Colombia besides all the bad things they show on the news or teach you in schools, but when I saw a post from one of my favorite travel bloggers....Hi Rachel Travels!...about her trip to Bogota, Colombia, I had to add Colombia to my bucketlist. Rachel talked about all the cool things Bogota had to offer that didnt break the bank. I'm always down for "cheap travel" so I got to planning :)

1/26/2016 0 Comments Happy Birthday To Me!!!!!I came across this quote/meme/picture or whatever you want to call it, on Instagram. It said something along the lines of, your future mate MUST share your same passion for travel as you do. So I paused to read through the comments and I was quite intrigued by some of the responses from people, mainly women. After scrolling through a few lines of: “I would never...”, “I refuse…”, “I can’t see myself…”, etc., all I could think about was, I thought opposites attract?
Choosing a place to stay in Punta Cana was a bit overwhelming. There were a ton of resorts and hotels to choose from and the reviews were all over the place. After a lengthy search (well not really), I chose the Art Villa Dominicana.
11/6/2015 3 Comments Much needed "Rest-cation"...Punta Cana - Part 1So one morning I was checking my email alerts and there was a flight deal for Punta Cana. I realized 2015 was coming to an end and I didn’t have a passport stamp for this year, so I jumped on it. Now me being the person that absolutely LOVES cold weather, why would I choose the Dominican Republic… lol. Well, it was some place that I’ve never been before and I needed to get away to relax. My plan was to go down there and see what they typically don’t advertise on the brochures.
